Jacob Romeo 

Jacob Romeo brings a decade of experience in principal investing and corporate advisory to serve Kogi’s clients. 

Prior to Kogi, Jake was an investment analyst at Citadel, assisting in the management of a multi-billion dollar portfolio focused on distressed credit and special situations investments. Jake led a rigorous cross-sector fundamental research process, including detailed analysis of company financial statements, business models, competitive positioning, capital allocation, and capital structures, as well as communication with corporate representatives, advisors, and industry experts.

Jake was also an investment banking analyst at J.P. Morgan and Evercore Partners, engaging in various advisory transactions resulting in the raising or restructuring of over $5 billion of debt. 

Jake holds a B.A. in Philosophy from the University of Chicago.
